There are no touchbacks in the CFL, thanks in part to its 25-yard end zones. Instead they have a 'single', or 'rouge' in French. If a kick or punt into the end zone isn't run out for whatever reason the receiving team gets the ball at the 35 - but the kicking team gets 1 point.

This would be easily adaptable to the NFL. It would add a new emphasis to special teams by forcing them to play the whole field instead of just between the goal lines. As extra points show, they can change the dynamics of a game.
