Uh, you essentially just broke the whole of the Civil War, and the whole of Lincolns personality into two measly paragraphs...talk about simplification. You have no idea what you are talking about. Lincoln may have advocated returning slaves to africa, but at least he didn't OWN them like Robert E. Lee(regardless of his personal views, he still OWNED people, views mean nothing when compared with actual actions).
