That is very sad that you have had to deal with this. That said, we have to be careful about overgeneralizing.

From what the LW stated, it sounds like the couple has a healthy relationship. If the guy had a porn addiction, there would be other indicators that the relationship was quite the opposite of healthy. Even though I have known people who are alcoholics, the fact that someone has an occasional beer or a glass of wine, or even gets drunk once in a while, does not lead me to conclude that that specific person is an alcoholic. Just like someone who occasionally bets on the game or plays poker - he (or she) is not necessarily suffering from a gambling addiction. And, just like someone who occasionally watches porn - that fact does not mean that he (or she) has a problem.
