Re: Afraid of Dr. Paul?

Yep. Mike Gravel and Alan Keyes probably got the shortest shrift.

Most people didn't even know Keyes was running. & That is despite the novelty of a black arch conservative running for the Republican nomination.

Kucinich gets ridiculed as a UFO seeing Keebler irrespective of the fact that he is the only one with balls enough to impeach Cheney! (You'd think that would be newsworthy)

Gravel was instrumental in getting the Pentagon Papers into public record and thus helping end Vietnam... but they treat him like a senile uncle.

Sad. These guys have more knowledge and experience than the frontrunners combined... save for McCain, but he's another story.

But no one can dismiss Paul as being underfunded or without support. He just won AOL's straw poll for Petes's sake... The first time he won it, they claimed technical errors and reset the poll!

Guess it isn't surprising... just disappointing.

And I'm not a Ron Paul supporter. I would rather have Gravel even (as impossible as that is)... people who speak from the heart are rare. Most politicians are simply parrots for their advisors' talking points.
