ancestral home. So why are you using the Christian time

designation "BC", meaning "Before Christ" (whose counterpart

is AD (Anno Domini = Year of Our Lord -- er, WHOSE Lord?)

Not only scholars and academics, but

increasingly mainstream publications have adopted the

secular designations "CE" for Common Era and "BCE" for

Before the Common Era. Give it some thought.
