Re: So Much Noise from Slate
by monicalee

This is ridiculous! Mr. Johnson is NOT a member of Hillary's staff. He was there to introduce her. That means, to anybody with a brain, that he said what he said ON HIS OWN.

How would Hillary and her staff have known what he was going to say? He obviously added the part about Obama "in the neighborhood" off the cuff. At least that's the way it sounded to me. (And I've had to listen to it over and over again, on every channel in every time slot.)

An entire front page of Hillary attacks, including a "brilliant" piece by Hitchens, in which he says Hillary shouldn't be even mentioned in the same breath as Sir Edmund Hillary! Amazing. Sir Hillary climbed a mountain and he's a hero. Hillary Clinton has spent her life attempting to help Americans have better lives, and she's a no-account bitch.

One thing you can say about Christopher--misogyny is alive and well in Hitchensworld. There is not one thing in his piece that would convince anyone to "hate" Hillary. So why does he hate Hillary? I couldn't tell. Why doesn't he expend that much energy hating George W. Bush? If he wants a perfect example of power corrupting, it's right under his pompous British nose.

Nice going, Slate. And clever, too. Piling on Hillary Clinton. How original!
