Good luck Andy!

Looking forward to how this develops. I like the idea of the Slate team (whose taste I appreciate) choosing and producing videos for me to watch while I'm at work (which I do currently but must rely on my "hip friends" to provide).

There may be some bugs to work out though. Using Firefox the site took an insufferably long time to load. Explorer was better, but some of the videos themselves played choppily. This was particularly true of the newest videos, like Prudie and Explainer, and less during the animation segments and more when the Slate staffer was being filmed narrating. The older stuff played more fluidly, like the Damned Spots (even the non-animation parts).

Also, I've never really understood what Magnum photos were, and I'm too lazy to research it to give myself some context. By extension, the Magnum "Joy" montage seemed awkward, out-of-place and, well, blah. I think I have the capacity to occasionally appreciate something more cultured then, say, "D--k in a Box," but when you consider the typical subject matter of internet video, I think providing some accessible context (to build appropriate expectations) would be good for future Magnum montages.
