But unless he is absolutely perfect in every way, he stands as much under God's judgement as Pol Pot. If he refuses to repent and turn to Christ, yes, he will find himself condemned on judgement day.
Your imaginary Christian needs to remember Christ's words: Not all who say to me "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father."
My point - organized Christianity seems to interfere with Christian (New Testament) behavior. You didn't answer my question directly, though the answer you did provide is telling. You compared the admirable secular humanist, who "does the will of my father" with Pol Pot, while you gave a mild admonishment to the Unchristianlike Christian.
You value affiliation more than you value moral values, or behavior. As far as I'm concerned, this destroys your credibility.
