Krebs Can't Shake Imperial Thinking

It seems like so many pundits, thinkers, politicans, and leaders in America just can't shake the mindset that America must advance its interests abroad through conniving double talk, backstabbing hypocricy, and cutthroat manicheanism.
Its like the abuser that beats his kids, realizes its wrong, but resorts back to beating them because it just seems to work.
Fie on you.
Why are American military installations and military agreements spanning the globe and amount to easy access for covert American forces into most any Muslim country without any fear of reprisal or even a formal reprimand from Muslim rulers? That's empire. And folks like Krebs support it, relish in the bloody power of it, and whine about retaining and intensifying that power.
No amount of 'two faced' American backing will change the imperialism that is America's thrust into the heart and guts of the Muslim world.
Need I mention that American covert forces are suspected of regularly violating international law to engage in covert missions into Iran's western front for over 3 years?
Nay. Its about empire.
Not about civilizations or extremism or modernism. American empire is what America is defending- the empire that has Arab sheikhs protected by 1000s of American forces contracted for 90 years while the sheikhs dump billions into American economy buying American weapons and stocks.
Trillions of American dollars are at stake- or at least those in American hands. Not to mention the perhaps trillion dollars of Muslim wealth invested in America. America doesn't want Muslim countries to unify as a single state much as American states did, like European countries did, or like ancient China did. America prefers tiny petty nations too weak to fulfill their interests and needs on their own and reliant on the West (Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Emirates, etc).
Nor do they want Muslim resources controlled by a central govt which will develop its own infrastructure irrespective of American interests (eg. resoources like oil, gas, uranium).
Nor does America want Muslims to control their own waterways- like the Suez or the Hormuz or Persian Gulf- like America controlled the Panama canal and Gulf of Mexico. Nor does America want Muslims to nationalize/state own large parts of the Muslim people's economy, like energy resources, infrastructure (roads, rails, factories, ports), or to outlaw interest laden transactions (capitalist financial industry being fundamentally dependent on interest).
These are the real issues which America fears in the Muslim world because they all come from Islam. But they hi lite the wedge issues like hijab/headscarves, criminalized sexual conduct, gay rights, and other hot topics which will distract the world.
Call me an extremist, but I and millions of Muslims belief in calling it like we see it. That's why the corrupt Muslim rulers have to use oppression, coercion, torture, and violence to defend themselves- they can't stand the truth. They can't stand the fact that their corruptions, immorality, deceit, can be publicly denounced with the truth or justice. So they kill, torture, imprison and beat those who speak against them.
