In the case of LDS, the leader gave very specific instructions and organized a massacre down to how it would be done and who would be blamed (the indians). This conspiracy goes way beyond simply preaching hate and letting the parishinors have at it.

It isnt nit picking. It is the difference between terrorists and government sponsored attack only in this case, it was a religion rather than a government. And again the question is who does the politicition give allegiance to-the church or the people.

If you cannot grasp the difference between these two things you probably shouldnt be debating the topic.
