I never thought smoking looked cool or sexy. Stupid, sad, disgusting, and pathetic maybe; but never cool.

Whenever I see somebody smoking, I wonder what their deficiency is. Are they stupid? Are they smart, but so desperate to "fit in" or "look cool" that they took up smoking anyway? And when I saw a woman smoking, well it was such a turn-off that I would never approach them with romantic attentions.

I will cut old people a little slack (people who are about 70 now) because risks were underplayed (but already well known) and the pro-smoking campaign was very strong. But I still find it sad....
