Lunesta:one has only to read just a few of them ALOUD to SENSE and know that. If someone has a 'deaf ear,' however & is not natively attuned to hearing the RHYTHMS in the words of the Psalms, "someone" can easily miss the affinity and natural relation. "Someone" also could/might like to start up (ongoing, old, former, continuing ...) Discussions Just for Discussion's Sake. :-) White Rabbit's post is a blessing upon our heads, as they say in some Episcopal churches, just as his presence here and in our lives, is also a blessing.
Of course there can be other reasons why one (anyone) might not make a connection with some Psalms, such as this one: some people will appreciate a Psalm when it focuses on mere emotional expression (for that is when the Psalms are most florid and metaphorical, both verbally -- even in translation -- and melodically through "word painting"), but not nearly so easily when it focuses on the grandeur of God or on what that God-consciousness demands of one's moral life (for then the words and melodies are much more direct).
Thanks for your comments, Lunesta.
