This morning I was SHOCKED and TERRIFIED at the prospect of two gabfesters being absent! I fear change. Dickerson calling in from the roador Plotz from the NYC office was enough to make me uneasy. I was worried David Plotz would be uncomfortable in the hosting duties, but he did a great job.
I think David is most comfortable being slightly contrarian to John Dickerson's hosting of the show, but he showed he can steer the ship just fine.
Timothy Noah and June Thomas both did well in their guest roles providing insight. They can fill in empty chairs anytime and I won't fear for the safety of my friday morning commute podcast ritual.
I'd also like to thank this weeks podcast for teaching many things about Mayor Mike Bloomberg that I previously didn't know. If he emerges as a third party/independent candidate its nice to have a starting place to refer to about him.
One thing I wonder though is Bloomberg dropping the Republican tag to open up the possibility of him being a vice presidential contender?
