I've been very impressed by your patient and tolerant stance here on this issue.

You've been a model of clear thinking, open mindedness & compassion.

I fall into the 2 & 3 category of the previous poster, but I go even futher. Not only is the frame incorrect, not only is the science inconclusive, not only are the advocates dyed-in-the-wool racists, but debate is pointless.

As you have so neatly said, either we help everyone who needs helping or we don't.
