Washington, we have a problem. These latest revelations are just more malfeasance from the highest levels of government. Americans, federal prosecutors, and perhaps even the House Committee on Intelligence hold a grim view of perjury, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice. There has to be a modicum of trust between the people and the government served by it, or the government will cease to exist. Lying to the American public, destroying evidence, failure to respond to evidentiary requests from the Justice Department. Look where it got Nixon. The Bush administration continues its retreat to a dungeon of their own making.
