I was unimpressed with the first book, which was overall uninteresting until the end. The Second book was the most interesting, well developed of the three. The third threw the story away. I could accept he religous criticism in books 1 & 2, but 3 seemed like a diatribe with little to no story. It made me angry that I had wasted my time and money reading the books at all.
