THE two dominant religions in the United States control over 90% of the news we see, read, hear and research.

They control the federal government. They dominant in virtually all of the state governments. The true believers frequently proselytize among the masses, demonstrating deep faith while frequently performing visible acts of self-sacrifice. Donations flow from every corner of our country and from overseas.

These ARE faith-based institutions as you can observe frequently by listening to the preaching. Faith dominates every thought of these true-believers. Facts are not an issue; proofs are not provided, though often claimed to exist. When evidence surfaces to contradict a core belief, true believers perform complex linguistic miracles to ensure the revision of history, demonstrating that what was written and recorded in the past was simply misunderstood by those of us not graced with sufficient understanding.

By now you should have guessed which two faith-based institutions I'm describing:

1) the Democratic Party;

2) the Republican Party.

Think I'm kidding? Simply watch the cable news networks and C-SPAN and observe what happens in the world. The true-believers in these two religions are constantly re-writing history, casting all that is ever said or thought to conform to their doctrine.

Do NOT vote for either of these parties in '08. Vote only for an individual who talks facts, identifies problems and asks your opinion on possible solutions. Independents Day!
