Look at it this way, how long did it take for Iraqis to start throwing rockets at US soldiers after the 2003 invasion? Not long, was it?

The Palestinians kept absolute quiet in the West Bank and Gaza for 20 years under Israeli occupation before the had their first uprising and ten years later their first suicide bomber.

There's some kind of lesson in all of this, isn't it?

Oh, well let me be the first to inform you: Israel pulled out of Gaza. Uprooted Israeli citizens and dragged them out, at great political cost to the administration which did it. After which, Hamas took advantage of their new freedom by dropping rockets on the Israelis.

Look, I know you've got Morality on your side and nothing will ever change that, but as a practical matter, I would hope you'd see that if you want people to stop occupying your territory, responding to their moving out even partially by trying to kill them is probably a step in the wrong direction. Of course, it's the perfect strategy if what you want to do is continue the fighting as long as possible, which is of course why it's so popular among the other Arab states and Hamas, both of whom benefit from it.
