Potassium Salt
by amykate
My younger brother got a little worried after my Dad developed some heart problems. We did a little research and switched to potassium-based salt (instead of sodium). It sounds goofy, but it's actually a little saltier than regular salt, so you use less "salt" and you get more potassium in your diet. This is a good alternative if you are worried about your sodium content. You can buy it at any grocery store and replace the stuff in your salt shaker with it. It doesn't work well with some meds/health conditions though.
