Love that soundtrack - especially Alison Krauss and a white gospel choir (Baptist?) singing "Down To The River To Pray" (it accompanies the baptism scene in the movie). Actually, despite being a committed agnostic, I'm a great fan of gospel in general - black, white, what-have-you.

One gospel funereal song I love is "Burying Ground" by the Sensational Nightingales, available on Volume 2 of "Jubilation!", a three disc gospel set from Rhino. I also like Tom Waits' "Dirt In The Ground" (but then again, I'm a freak for Tom Waits).
