seriously though, I think Prudie's a bit off on this one. So what if he doesn't want to work? I don't either. I'd like some ease myself. Id rather swim in a heated pool, take classes at the local university and bang an amiable wife, or failing that, the maid. It doesn't make him spoiled. Half the work done is work that shouldn't be done, as its just plain destructive. Should he get a job as a claims administrator for a health care company? The richest one of my sibs made his money as a tobacco lobbyist, would that be better than hanging around town?

His life doesn't need a body of work to justify it. She sounds like she just wants people to help her serve her needs, forgetting that other people are as real as she is, and may not want the same things she does. God help him if he displeases her, she'll go for half the trust fund and bitch about how he is morally inferior to her. My first wife was an ambitious accountant from a poor family, I was a lazy science teacher who will probably inherit a portfolio large enough to cover everything a few times. It didn't work out.
