Liberals don't want failure, but we do want to remind everyone that the Iraq war was not well conceived or executed and even if, when the dust settles, it doesn't turn out as badly as it might have, it has still been a foreign policy blunder of the first order. If we all cheer about how swell it turned out, we'll end up agreeing with Dick Cheney and do the same thing in Iran, with a predictably bad outcome.
