Being a seasoned ear-plug man myself, I stumbled upon this article with great pleasure. Those who know about my ear-plug fetish consider me mad.

I have long been a wax-plug fan because of the comfort and value for money. The polyurathane plugs block out almost everything, but they can be murder after a few hours and sleeping with in is excruciating. I save these for 'difficult moments' like heavy traffic and neighbour parties.

It's a tragedy to have to wear them though, sometimes I miss the birdsong.
