Regarding the release of hostages:

Do you call them POW's for convenience sake? I hope so as I do not understand who this is a war between? It seems to me as if the PKK ambushed Turkish soldiers in Turkish territory on Oct 21st and took them hostage, please correct me if im wrong.

So the correct term should be "hostage".

Anyone with any common sense would see that this gesture trying to create a peaceful atmosphere for eventual dialouge should be encouraged and rewarded.

Well pardon me but they did take the soldiers hostage in the first place, in what was to my information an unprovoked ambush.

What you say may have been true if the Turkish soldiers had been part of some sort of cross border operation; but as they were purposefully kidnapped, your comment is at best naive, at worst disingenious.
