All things considered the title of this article is really misleading. The information provided paints a very broad picture of what is going on, but it is in no way "complete" and the article itself not all that helpful or informative.

There are all sorts of qualifications that are not specified and the repeated use of the weasel words that incentives offered are "up to" without specifying exactly is required to get the full maximum amount of bonus. It would be more helpful to state what were typical amounts of these bonuses paid to recuits.

The statement of "Recruits opting for the Army Reserve can also earn large bonuses--up to $20,000 for a six-year enlistment..." is particularly galling and misleading. Spread out over six years, a $20,000 bonus is hardly "large."

All things considered, a very disappointing article.
