I'm a Turk so please feel free to view my comments as "biased".

But I think we should be focusing on how to normalize relationships between Armenia and Turkey, and to get the Turkish government to open the border with Armenia.

Unfortunately this bill is regarded by hawks in Turkey as an excuse to keep the border closed, and I dont think its helping Armenians living and working in Turkey either.

While I can understand the sentiment behind the Bill, I'm glad it was stillborn. Hopefully, we will be able to find better ways of reconciling the two populations and achieving closure for both societies.
