You & Ted have produced here, two of the best and most relevant posts I've seen on the PFray in years. These are going to the Favorites. Also, "Prose-acked" -- very good, thanks for that. Your last two sentences are especially apt and make the point: "Don't just get up there and blurt it out in a panic-poignant monotone just cause that's what all the other poets do." Ted is quite right: it's all about the rhythm. But so many of the Pinsky-posted poets seem to have forgotten this, if they ever knew it.
