Giuliani's combativeness

Odd how pundits in the '04 race described Howard Dean's anger as a disadvantage, whereas today they see Giuliani's combativeness--though arguably less grounded in reason than Dean's--as a strength. It's disturbing how commentators' handicapping of elections can influence them, and it will be interesting to see how they effect this one.
