To say that boys benefit from being spared the need to be jocks because there are no females to impress doesn't work since males are harder on their peers regarding atheletic prowess. The competition between men to win in the financial and physicial areas is as intense in all male schools as in mixed - just ask any guy who was educated in all male schools.
