Wes Anderson's "Whiteness"

Yawn: another painfully thin 'analysis' of supposed racial bias. It has always perplexed me that anyone would labour so tirelessly to lend something basically innocuous - in this case, Anderson's films - the appearance of racism, and this particular example is so strenuously eked-out that I wonder if it was done on a bet? The article is certainly more revealing of its writer's own biases than those of its subject. Wes Anderson makes movies about white people? And some of the minor characters are brown or black? Jim Crow all over again, indeed.
