Yes, I think so, too. American Muslims can, and should be able to, practice their religion without being accused of trying to Islamicize the United States. And arguing for their right to do so shouldn't be interpreted as a pro-Muslim position - it is simply the American position, which is that you're allowed to practice any religion you want.
