Note that I said that the decision is an "indication", not proof positive. It is fair for me to take your marriage as evidence of a choice to increase your commitment level. You can clear that up by saying that in your case it isn't so, but that doesn't mean every time someone chooses to get married we have to pretend that we don't know what that choice typically, generally means.

(I actually had added a bit to my first post saying that I don't think my statements are true in each and every case, but I deleted it on the grounds that such a caveat would be necessary every time a topic regarding the human condition, emotions, relationships, etc. was being addressed.)
