But in this specific case we are talking about a minor child and her parent. It would be like her going to the police and saying her teacher was stalking her because he was in the classroom waiting for her every morning - a perfect red flag to show that there is obviously something wrong with her boundaries. I can't imagine a court punishing a guy for keeping tabs on his kid. And if she went that route first, it would set precedence so that if she claimed sexual abuse later, they'd already be aware that she has a history of making false claims. Of course, if he had her in treatment from the first round of acting out, that would also set up a history that would protect him.
