You're suggesting that Islam itself is not directly responsible for Hasan's actions, and that Muslims aren't all murderous extremists.

Yet, in your top post you're clearly troubled by the fact that two minutes or two hours after the mass-murder, the FBI decided to not yet declare that Hasan is possibly a murderous, extremist, Muslim terrorist doing jihad against the infidel America.

Since they couldn't rule it out, you're suggesting that the FBI should have seen "murderous,extremist Muslim terrorist doing jihad" as a very possible explanation for Hasan's actions. And again, they should have drawn that as a possible conclusion, within minutes of the rampage, and disseminated that to the media.

I think I'll just stick with my original point. It was too early for you to be playing the "Killing in the name of Islam" card, and the fact that perhaps Hasan was killing in the name of Islam doesn't change my opinion. The FBI didn't know, and the evidence they had seemed to indicate otherwise.

Oh and, if I may make a suggestion about your politicizing of this rampage, ....

Haven't yet seen it presented right, i.e., rammed down his throat, but Obama reportedly had a "My Pet Goat" moment after being briefed on the killings. He returned to the podium where he'd been speaking, and like you, cracked a couple jokes, called for a "shout-out" to somebody or another, then after a minute or two, almost as an afterthought, announced the attacks, which he found Horrifying.

That is inaccurate.

While he did indeed give a "shout out" to a member of the conference, that somebody of another being Dr Joe Medicine Crow, Congressional Medal of Honor winner by the way, and some may think said "shout out" was poorly delivered and poorly timed, in no way did President Obama "crack a couple of jokes" nor did he treat the Ft Hood shootings as "an afterthought." The shootings were the cause of the abbreviated address to the conference, and Obama's remarks about the shootings were THE thought, not a goddamned afterthought.

You should go in the box for 2 minutes and feel shame.
