Virginia Tech is no surprise, you're right. It has a very high Muslim studenthood. The other infamous murdering piece of filth from that school also explicitly admired Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, and deplored American foreign policy. That didn't get much press, maybe for fear of a "backlash" (read: "wake-up call").
