after all these years. What you decry as "socialism" is in fact overwhelmingly corporate welfare, AKA fascism. You conveniently now blame both parties while you have supported the GOP for many years. How self-serving. Let's take your points singly:
In most countries of this world the son of a janitor will be a janitor
and the son of the banker will own the building in which the poor man
works.
That may be true, but in the "socialist" countries like France, which you so abhor, the janitor's son can attend university free of charge--as opposed to in America, where he must go deeply into debt to get a degree. It is in the United States where this son of the banker gets let off the hook on estate taxes and taxes in general, and so wealth is perpetuated much more than in the European countries--all more socialist.
A nation of welfare cheats, and ne’er do wells, as well as crooked
politicians and public servants on the take, prepared the United States
of America for Barack Obama.
You forgot to mention that 20 years of Reagan and two Bushes prepared America for this. Republicans have failed.
Health Care reform is not about providing health security to all
Americans. It is an attempt to consolidate power and make every
American totally dependent on government.
No, it is actually an attempt to make every American buy private health insurance. The union of corporate and government interests is fascism, not socialism. Socialism is egalitarian. That's not what we have and are getting. That's your primary error.
