Well then, I guess it was very altruistic for the black political community to show such concern for rural poor white people. But there _were_ a great many people who chose to make welfare a generation-after-generation way of life -- that was the problem.

Men are not obligated to pay child support to the children of whores and prostitutes. That's why women are supposed to demand marriage before sex.

As for Mediaire, I saw a damning 60 Minutes episode about uncontrolled massive fraud in the system. So maybe the British approach makes more sense.
