Seniors turned against the dems in NJ and VA and someone needs to analyze that and figure out how to address it. If it has anything to do with medicare cuts, it could be a big problem.;s

Uh, perhaps you missed it, but seniors voted in overwhelming numbers for Mccain last year. The over 65 crowd was in fact that one demographic that he did win. So its really not that much of a surprise that in an off year election where old folks are more likely to vote than young folks and minorities that the GOP would do better than in a year with a Presidential election.

Anyone who thinks they see some deeper meaning in yesterday's election is delusional. Especially since a year is a long time and the political climate will be very different. GDP is growing, wall street is recovering, and if the job market begins to improve as is expected this winter than 2010 is going to be a whole new ball game.
