Morals are not absolute. A great deal of morality is a function of society. Children have to be taught societal norms, but a good deal of morality is innate.

I'm not sure how I can answer how I "became moral." I've always understood that some things were right and some were wrong.

I don't think it takes a great deal of strength to act morally. My own belief is that most people tend to try to do the right thing. Sometimes it's difficult to know what that is. Obviously not all people.
