When I was a substitute teacher, I once walked into a middle-school classroom where all the other boys pointed at one child and yelled "He's a fag! He's a fag!" So you bet I think they should be educated against gay baiting.

However, that was not my point. I was trying to say that no matter what the public schools teach about homosexuality, it will not possibly affect anyone's life the way that his child's lack of health insurance would do. And I cannot even imagine how anyone could be persuaded otherwise.
