If there is a next hurricane like katrina which is unlikely,things will be better..The corp of engineers is working hard to repair the levees..

They did such a great job the first time. Hopefully now they are doing something whose brilliance is equal to their "let's channel all of the Mississippi River silt off the continental shelf and get rid of those pesky wetlands" scheme.
