I know Houghton is a Christian College, right? There are all different types of SUNYs. Liberal Arts Colleges, Teaching Colleges, Science, Agricultural and Technical Colleges etc...That one just happens to be one that has that Christian emphasis.

Sounds like his room mates must have been intolerant so and sos, for sure.
