Monteleon is a wonderful hotel and now the Roosevelt has reopened on Canal street where Huey Long waxed inane..I need to go down and see the reopened Blue Room of the Roosevelt.What I liked about the Monteleone was it seemed the same as fifty years ago but clean..

Tourism is down a bit but I hope it picks up this winter from the snowbirds.
