Tundrayeti: In order to make the choices that would make me fit enough to satisfy your esthetics, I have to starve all the time. I don't mean eat healthier, or eat smaller portions.

When I was in the Army I had to limit myself to 1,200 calories a day. If I didn't, I gained weight. The same was true for the four year period I did in my mid-30s. Yeah, I can "choose" to lose the weight -- and I'm hungry, every day, all day. I have no social life, because I have to go bed a 9 p.m to get up at 5 a.m. to go to the gym for an hour before I go to work. Meet someone after work? Sorry, I'm too tired, and almost any normal "after work" activity is going to be a meal or drinks that will exceed the calorie count. Miss a day? Put on 5 lbs and spend a week getting it back off.

Yes -- it's a matter of choices. I choose to no longer follow that regimen. I'm free, at the moment, to make that choice, and in a free country, that choices is none of your fucking business.
