Re: Thanks!

That's great news, MaryAnne. I was commenting that I am not at all surprised by the dem win in the 23rd district. That's Watertown, I believe. Watertown was about 80 miles North east of where I grew up. We used to always shiver and count our lucky stars that as bad as it gets for us in the winter in Upstate New York, (from the Ontario Lake effect) at least we don't get hit quite as bad a Watertown does. The local weather used to chill us to the bone.

When we'd have 3-4 feet of snow and -10 degrees F in January, poor Watertown would be getting 8 feet of snow and be -25 degrees F.Brrrrrrrrrr!

It gets cold and snow bound there.Believe me, the squirrels in Upstate New York aren't doing much else ,but gathering their nuts for the winter, right now.

I really don't miss those icy cold winters, there or the salt on the road each winter that rusts out the underside of your car. Just awful.

We did have fun doing 360's in the snow though, I must admit, at times we did make it fun.

;-)
