She's tired of gritting her teeth to keep from smacking people who pretend to feel sorry for her but are actually jealous of the freedom that she's chosen. She may marry one day or not. I can guarantee that when/if she does, she won't settle and marry just for the sake of being married. She won't pick a mate out of fear, like a lot of people do. THAT'S what gets up people's noses, and that's what's behind the "pitying" comments. Women are the worst, BTW.
