Whe you say "actually won by 8%" you're kind of over-thinking things. If he won by 5% he won by 5%. If the pre-election poll was accurate he exceeded his perceived pre-election expectation by 8% (or something like that).

Anyway, I'm glad the fat guy won, saw him once, seemed like a smart guy.
