Virginia has had 8 Governors going back to Dalton in '78. 5 have been Democrats and 3 have been Republican. Not a lot of news there...except that that's a lot of Governors in just a 31 year span. But...there's that single term thing.

Anyway...the interesting thing is that whenever the president has been a Republican, Virginians have elected a Democratic Governor. And..whenever the President's been a Democrat, they've elected a Republican.

That oughta tell us something...although I can't opine as to what except maybe in terms of a "grass is greener" kinda thing. And...yeah, I knew there was at least one reasonable conservative left, because I'm one!
