if moral relationships are built over the course of evolution

I'm not sure either, but it is one of the major themes of a book that came out a while ago by somebody famous. (God, I hate how bad my memory has become!!!!!)

Actually, the guy didn't talk about moral relationships but about how civilization seems to be getting better in the sense of more moral. (and he sorta / kinda suggested that might mean the existence of some sort of god -- although I personally don't seem the connection)
