I like what Dawkins once said when he was debating the good/bad of the Bible with a believer. He said something to the effect that good people who believed will cherry pick the good things out of that book to follow and ignore the bad. Good people who don't believe follow the same good rules, but they didn't need to pull them out of all the garbage.
